It is co-managed by Parametric Portfolio Associates and Rampart Investment Management. The fund invests in the public equity markets across the globe. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating across the diversified sectors. The fund is a derivative fund that employs options strategy of writing index call options. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the S and P 500 Index, the CBOE S and P 500 BuyWrite Index, the CBOE NASDAQ-100 BuyWrite Index, and the FTSE Eurotop 100 Index. Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Buy-Write Opportunities Fund was formed on September 30, 2005 and is domiciled in the United States.
