Alon Holdings Blue Square - Israel Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, operates supermarkets and retail outlets in Israel. As of June 30, 2011, the company operated 209 supermarkets under the Mega, Mega in Town, Shefa Shuk, Mega Bool, and Eden Teva- and 263 non-food retail outlets under the Naaman, Vardinon, Sheshet, Kfar Hasha'ashuim, Dr. Baby, All for a Dollar, and Rav-Kat brand names. In addition, it owns, leases, and develops retail outlets, warehouses, and offices- and engages in the development, construction, and operation of vehicle fueling stations, adjacent commercial centers, and independent convenience stores- marketing of fuel and other products through the fueling stations and convenience stores- and direct marketing of distillates to customers. The company was formerly known as Blue Square Israel Ltd. and changed its name to Alon Holdings Blue Square - Israel Ltd. in July 2010. The company was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Rosh Ha'ayin, Israel. Alon Holdings Blue Square - Israel Ltd. is a subsidiary of Alon Israel Oil Company Ltd.
