The Commercial Systems segment supplies aviation electronics systems, products, and services to original equipment manufacturers of commercial air transport, business and regional aircraft, commercial airlines, and fractional interest and other business aircraft operators. Its products include integrated avionics systems, integrated cabin electronics systems, communications systems and products, navigation systems and products, situational awareness and surveillance systems and products, electro-mechanical systems, and simulation and training systems. This segment also provides on-board information management systems and connectivity solutions, airborne and ground applications and services, and ground infrastructure and services- and maintenance, repair, parts, and after-sales support services. The company was founded in 1933 and is headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
