P.A.M. Transportation Services, Inc., a truckload dry van carrier, engages in transporting general commodities. The company's freight consists primarily of automotive parts and consumer goods, such as general retail store merchandise, as well as manufactured goods, which include heating and air conditioning units. It also provides brokerage and logistics services, which include transportation scheduling, routing, mode selection, transloading, and other value added services related to the transportation of freight. The company offers its services in the continental United States, as well as in certain Canadian provinces and Mexico. As of December 31, 2009, it operated a fleet of 1,731 trucks and 4,630 trailers. The company was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Tontitown, Arkansas.
